Digital radiography is a form of x-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images. Also less radiation can be used to produce an image of similar contrast to conventional radiography.
Laughing gas is great to relax you! It's a combination of Oxygen with Nitrous Oxide, inhaled by patient with a nose mask. In a couple of minutes the patient becomes relaxed, feels light, happy, possible to laugh. The feeling ends up when lungs are flushed back with Oxygen. Patient leaves aware of surroundings.
Oral sedation is great for anxious patients! It's a form of sedation performed by placing the sedative drug to dissolve under tongue. Patient will be sedated for a couple of hours, and doesn't remember in detail after sedation is over. He/she is not recommended to drive that day.
Intraoral camera is a special camera designed for taking pictures in the mouth; therefore you can see the tooth really big and in detail, so any cracks or decay can be more visible.
